Übersicht
Als Senior Product Manager leitest du unsere Bemühungen, Nutzerwert in unserem Portfolio von Datenprodukten zu liefern, und bringst datengesteuerte Erkenntnisse in das Zentrum des Produktteams. Daten für unsere Kunden bedeuten alles von intelligenter Bauprojektinformation bis hin zu Vertriebsaktivitäten. Daten für Building Radar bedeuten quantitative Einblicke, um fundierte Entscheidungen zu unterstützen.
Deine Hauptaufgabe als Senior Product Manager besteht darin, mit Benutzern und Kollegen zusammenzuarbeiten, um zu verstehen, wie unsere Datenprodukte Wert liefern und wie dieser Wert maximiert werden kann. Unser Datenproduktportfolio umfasst Hochvolumen-Text- und Bildklassifizierungspipelines, mehrstufige NLP-Extraktormodelle, ML-gesteuerte Datenzusammenführungsalgorithmen und eine Reihe von LLM-Anwendungen, darunter Argumentation, Zusammenfassung und Textgenerierung. All diese Produkte beeinflussen entweder direkt die Daten, mit denen du täglich interagierst, oder wie du mit den für dich interessanten Daten verbunden bist. Daher sind diese Datenprodukte für deine Benutzererfahrung von entscheidender Bedeutung.
Du solltest dich wohlfühlen, mit hochtechnischen Engineer-Kollegen zu arbeiten, und selbstmotiviert, verantwortlich und ein wahrer Champion für datengesteuerte Erkenntnisse in unserer gesamten Organisation sein. Du berichtest direkt an den Chief Product Officer. Dies ist eine Position mit hoher Verantwortung und Auswirkung, mit Entwicklungsmöglichkeiten hin zum Group Product Manager Level.

Deine Aufgaben

Entwickle und pflege ein umfassendes Verständnis für die Problembereiche unserer Nutzer unter Verwendung qualitativer und quantitativer Forschungsmethoden.
Wende die richtige Produktstrategie an, um in Zusammenarbeit mit den Kollegen aus Engineering und Design mögliche Lösungen für diese Probleme zu entwickeln, wobei der Fokus auf der Nutzung unserer Daten- und KI-/ML-Fähigkeiten liegt.
Priorisiere ML-Entwicklungs-/Upgrade-/Neuqualifizierungsmaßnahmen basierend auf berechneten Risiko- und Ertragsmetriken, Nutzereinfluss/Ergebnissen und Ratschlägen von Engineering-Kollegen.
Analysiere Nutzerinteraktionsdaten, um Trends und Muster zu identifizieren, und handle entsprechend.
Konzipiere, verwalte und implementiere mittel- bis langfristige Strategien für unsere Daten- und KI-/ML-Fähigkeiten im Rahmen der Gesamtproduktstrategie.
Entwickle Gesundheitsmetriken für Daten- und KI-/ML-Funktionen, um Anomalien oder Trends, die sich auf die Benutzererfahrung auswirken, proaktiv zu erkennen.
Erkunde und verstehe ständig die neuesten Innovationen in GenAI, Machine Learning und Data Science und wende dieses Wissen an, um unsere Produktentwicklungsstrategie ständig zu hinterfragen und zu aktualisieren.
Unterstütze den CPO beim Aufbau, der Verwaltung und dem Mentoring eines wachsenden Teams von Produktmanagern.

Dein Profil

Abgeschlossenes Hochschulstudium in Informatik, Allgemeiner Ingenieurwissenschaft, Datenwissenschaft, Informatik, Mathematik oder äquivalente fortgeschrittene technische Denkfähigkeiten
Fähigkeit, Benutzeranforderungen für nicht-deterministische Anwendungen (z.B. Suchergebnis-Rankings und generative Textergebnisse) zu messen, zu interpretieren und zu definieren
Kommunikations- und Innovationsfähigkeit mit Kollegen aus dem Engineering und Design Team
Fähigkeit, große Datenmengen zu untersuchen, um handlungsorientierte Erkenntnisse abzuleiten
Vorherige Erfahrung als Produktmanager in einem B2B-SaaS-Unternehmen
Fließende Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift

Overview

As a Senior Product Manager you will lead our efforts to deliver user value across our portfolio of data products, as well as bring data driven insights to the heart of the Product team. Data for our customers means everything from construction project intelligence to sales outreach activity. Data for Building Radar means quantitative insights to support informed decision-making.

The primary role of the Senior Product Manager is to work with users and colleagues to understand how our data products deliver value and how this value can be maximized. The data product portfolio at Building Radar comprises high volume text and image classification pipelines, multi-tiered NLP extractor models, ML powered data merging algorithms and a range of LLM applications including reasoning, summarization and text generation. All of these products either directly affect the data that users interact with each day or how users are connected with the data that interests them. As such, the importance of these data products to the user experience are mission-critical.

The Senior Product Manager must be comfortable working with highly technical engineering colleagues and must be self-motivated, accountable and a true champion of data driven insights across our entire organization. The Senior Product Manager will report directly to the Chief Product Officer. This is a high ownership/impact role with career development opportunities towards Group Product Manager level.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain a rich and deep understanding of our users’ problem space using both qualitative and quantitative research methods
Apply the product strategy to develop possible solutions to these problems in collaboration with Engineering and Design colleagues, with a focus on leveraging our data and AI/ML capabilities
Effectively prioritize ML development/upgrade/retraining efforts based on calculated risk and payoff metrics, user impact/outcomes and advice from engineering colleagues
Interrogate user interaction data to identify trends and patterns then act on what you find
Conceive, manage and implement mid to long term strategies for our Data and AI/ML capabilities within the context of the overall product strategy
Develop health metrics for data and AI/ML features to proactively detect anomalies or trends that impact the user experience
Constantly explore and understand the latest innovations in GenAI, Machine Learning and data science then apply this knowledge to constantly challenge and update our product development strategy
Support the CPO in building, managing and mentoring a growing team of Product Managers.

Your profile

Higher education in Computer Science / General Engineering / Data Science / Informatics / Mathematics or equivalent advanced technical thinking capabilities
Ability to measure, interpret and define user requirements for non-deterministic applications (i.e. search result rankings and generative text outcomes)
Ability to communicate and innovate effectively with engineering and design colleagues
Ability to interrogate large volumes of data to derive actionable insights
Prior experience as a Product Manager in a B2B SaaS company
Fluent in written and spoken English and German
